Greetings, and welcome to my online image gallery/blog. I have worked as a photographer in the capacity of a keen amateur all the way up to a serious-semi professional taking commissions from the likes of the BBC and a wide variety of magazine’s and publications since I was a little kid.

Starting with an old Kodak box camera on school trips and 35mm film cameras I then made the move to digital with with a range of Nikon kit upgrading from a basic D80 then onto a pair of D300s bodies and eventually all the way up to the professional D3s camera bodies, flashes and lenses. These days, after taking a break from photography I’ve given up my professional kit and moved on to the amazing Sony Alpha 7CR which, although a very small and compact body (I would even say tiny) it still has a world beating 61 megapixel sensor.

As you can imagine I have amassed a substantial archive of images from my adventures. These images sit in a network storage area of mine never being seen by anyone and that has been increasing bugging me.

So, I have decided to open up my archive and display a selection of my choice images along with technical information and a short back story relating to what my aim was with the image and how I set about making a reality.

I truly hope you enjoy my work as much as I did and still do making it.
